Beautiful bronze by Charles Valton depicting a Bulldog, guard dog, illustrated by a sign behind him with the inscription: "Passez au large". Signed on the embankment: Ch.Valton. Beautiful medal patina. Inscription engraved on the base: "Loving memory of the officers of the 43rd of the 16th battalion and the telegraph 1882". 19th time. Very good cast iron quality.
