Uniform of the 48th Infantry Regiment, troop type 1812. First Empire. Made of woolen cloth, closing straight down the front. On each side of the front panel, a row of seven buttons. White front panel on a dark blue background; scarlet collar, facings, and turnbacks. Coat lined with canvas. Poor condition with damage and a repair to the cloth ("traces of glue").
