Large Signed Vietnamese Vase Bien Hoa On A Pedestal, Vietnam, Taoism

Important Bien Hoa vase on a pedestal from Vietnam, depicting the Eight Immortals in the Taoist tradition within a natural setting of trees, flowers, and a body of water.
Engraved signature/stamp on the underside of the vase, see photo.
Polychrome enamel in delicate colors, using cloisonné with a slight relief characteristic of Bien Hoa.
Dating from the first half of the 20th century.

Of note is a pair of vases of a very similar design presented at the Southern Women's Museum with the Ho Chi Minh City Antiquities Association, during the exhibition "Antiquities and Spring Stories" from January 10 to March 10, 2025.
