Stéphane Javier is an artist born in 1963 who lives in Bastia, Corsica.
He studied Applied Arts at Duperré in Paris and attended the Institute of Higher Studies in Art.
His career was launched in Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano at a craft fair.
"That's where I sold my first works."
He likes to paint alleyways, facades where laundry hangs to dry, the scent of soap almost perceptible.
Scenes that are sometimes noisy, like this café where friendships seem to linger.
But always the same sense of touch, these colors blended directly onto the canvas.
A 21st-century Impressionist. It is perhaps no coincidence that he cites Renoir.
"When you step back, everything falls into place.
I like to suggest things," explains this "urban landscape designer."
