The lower frame is decorated with gold foil representing flowers and vine leaves, surrounding three symbolic mirrors.
The upper part supports the bridal crown, topped by a rectangular mirror engraved with a design representing a boat approaching a lighthouse — an allegory of the marital journey and the protection of the home.
This mirror is richly decorated with floral motifs, doves and four ruby-imitation cabochons, adding a precious touch to the ensemble.
The composition rests on a square blackened wooden base topped with red padded velvet, typical of productions from the second half of the 19th century.
The orange blossoms on the crown are made of wax.
This globe comes from a collector's collection of 13 globes of different sizes, shapes and interiors, each one unique, also for sale.
Condition: very good condition. Velvet worn.
The base and bell are original and belong to the same set.
Please bear in mind that wax interiors are fragile and that these are objects that have stood the test of time, so there may be some wear and tear on certain buds and sometimes breaks in the branches.
