"Crystal Salt Cellar With 18-karat Solid Gold Stopper, Sewing Kit, Early 19th Century"
A tiny early 19th-century crystal salt cellar with its original gold stopper, hallmarked with a rooster's head (18-karat gold hallmark from 1809 to 1819). The stopper has a small ring for attaching it to a chain. The cellar also retains its original crystal inner stopper. These small bottles were commonly found in sewing kits of the period. The entire piece is in perfect condition. Total size of the cellar with stopper and ring: 3.7 cm
