PAIR OF SCREENS early 19th century Cardboard screens from the Empire period mounted on wooden handles. On the front an engraving representing a word composed of men and women. The first PAYEZ LE presents on the back a cartridge in which is written: In Paris at Marcilly, rue St Julien le Pauvre, N 14 and 15. The second BY ONE presents on the back a cartridge composed of a painter's palette and brushes. Boxes: 21.5 cm in diameter - total height: 34 cm The set is in fairly good condition although a little faded.
