This piece is directly in line with the luxurious and refined productions that made Rome's fortune between the 18th and the first third of the 19th century. Cultivated in Vatican workshops by Raffaelli and Aguatti, this art was popularized by some twenty factories specializing in productions based on antiquity and vedute, which met the voracious demand of travelers coming to complete their Grand Tour.
