Kyoto Satsuma Vase — Courtly Procession, Dense Moriage & Parcel Gilt, C.1890–1910
Design-forward Kyoto Satsuma with a tall, flared silhouette. The surface reads like textile: micro-diapering, beaded moriage and layered gold shifting from satin to shine on an ivory crackle ground. Courtly procession with karako creates movement and narrative without visual noise; colour family in tea, cinnamon and teal integrates easily into contemporary spaces. Discreet 「キリ」 decorator’s mark underfoot. UV-clean; only light gilt rubs.
