Chest Of Drawers Made By The Allot Workshops Of Loudéac, Dubois Model.
A Louis XV style commode, stamped Atelier ALLOT, 20th century. The commode has been fully restored with a French polish finish. Beautifully crafted in rosewood and amaranth veneer, it is decorated with floral cartouches.
The commode opens with two doors revealing two drawers. The front uprights are tapered, and it rests on four cabriole legs. The ornamentation includes chased and gilt bronze mounts on the keyhole escutcheon, drawer pull, corner mounts, moldings, and feet in the form of lion's paws.
The top is marble.
