Pierre Saint-Sorny was immersed in an artistic environment. He entered the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts at the age of 18. Attracted by light and colors, the artist decided to settle in Provence with his wife in 1976. In 1993, he moved to Peymeinade and finally settled in Grasse. Exhibited at the Museum of Art and History of Provence in 2002, under the title La Provence de Pierre Saint-Sorny, the artist, at the end of the event, donated the majority of his Provençal work to the Museum of Art and History of Provence in Grasse.
