Beautiful oil painting on canvas, framed in carved and gilded wood. The painting depicts the Madonna seated, holding the baby Jesus in her arms, both adorned with halos. The Madonna wears the classic robe and tunic, the lapels of which are finely painted. The baby Jesus, on the other hand, is dressed in a small white robe and holds a small spherical toy in his hand. The painting displays mastery of the chiaroscuro technique and excellent detail. The painting requires minor restoration. Neapolitan manufacture (Naples, Italy), early 18th century.
