"Louis XV Style Desk"
Superb Louis XV style desk, made in the 1920s/1930s, most likely from the Faubourg in Paris. Elegant rosewood veneer marquetry, rich ornamentation of finely chiseled and gilded bronzes. Its top covered in leather gilded with small iron is in perfect condition, as is the entire piece of furniture, a testament to refined cabinetmaking expertise and an excellent state of conservation. A piece of character combining the charm of the 18th century with the quality of the great Parisian creations of the early 20th century.
