Desk Table In Ash And Acacia, Louis XV – 18th Century
This desk table opens at the waist with a large, slightly molded surface-mounted drawer with turned buttons. It rests on four hunchbacked saber feet ending in brass rings. All these elements are made of acacia. The crosspiece is doweled and covered with an ogee molding. The miter-cut ash framed top with corbin beak is covered with brown back leather with gold vignette, corner motifs and central motif.
