Flat Desk In Satinwood, Louis XV Period, 18th Century.
Beautiful and elegant flat desk in satinwood, Louis XV period, circa 1755, Parisian-made furniture, 18th century. The desk we are presenting opens with two drawers on the front. Its top is encircled by an ingot mold and completed with its original leather. It rests on four slightly curved legs finished with bronze sabots. Marquetry on all its faces called a middle desk, the case is in oak specific to Parisian furniture. Of great sobriety which gives it a perfect elegance. In good condition. Private collection.
