This sculptural ashtray consists of two assembled parts: a main container and a slightly curved, pivoting top section that acts as a lid. This mobile cover swings open seamlessly to collect ashes while preserving the object's clean, minimalist lines when closed.
The piece presented here is one of the first models in polished cast aluminum, identical to the specimen in the Centre Pompidou collection, inventory no. AM 2007-1-141.
