Louis XV Period Armchair, Queen's Back, 18th Century.
Large armchair with a flat back called "à la Reine" from the Louis XV period. This beautiful seat in waxed natural beech rests on four arched legs. The two front legs are decorated with a flower decoration and finished at their end with an acanthus leaf. The belt is scalloped and animated, it is also decorated on the front crosspiece with charming floral work. The armrest consoles are curved and recessed with a protruding molding. They support the armrests equipped with cuffs. The backrest is violin-shaped and decorated at its top with a bouquet composed of two flowers and acanthus leaves on the shoulder. This seat is in perfect condition, the structure is very stable, the padding is comfortable and the covering fabric is velvet.
