Prints inspired by Brittany appeared from 1912 and 1913. Some paintings in the Montluçon museum allow us to locate his Breton stays, without however dating them: Douarnenez, Pont-Croix, the Baie des Trépassés, the Pays Bigouden, the island of Ouessant. The woodcuts confirm this predilection for maritime Finistère. Amédée-Wetter, by the very choice of woodcuts and black and white, offers a more austere vision, in which the picturesque environment plays little part."
