Optical device to aid drawing called "camera lucida" which is a device consisting of a prism fixed to the end of a telescopic arm equipped with a vice foot allowing it to be fixed to the edge of a table. The camera lucida allows you to superimpose, by aiming into the prism, the image of what you want to draw with the sheet of paper. Invention dating back to the beginning of the 19th century by the British physicist Hyde Wollaston.
