DESCRIPTION:
Tanto with its magnificent blade signed 備前國祐光 Bizen No Kuni Sukemitsu equipped with a very rare Koshirae (19th century), made by a master lacquerer, with a Chinese-inspired Lambo style decoration (two-tone lacquer with glass inlays).
The Koshirae bears the mention 伝一刀 Den Ittō (traditional blade). This is most likely a special order. In good condition - Sold Without certificate
