French School, Portrait Of A Young Woman Of Quality, Oil From The End Of The 18th Century

Beautiful old portrait of a young woman of quality, she is dressed in beautiful refined clothes, her head very nicely coiffed adorned with a barrette decorated with pearls.

This is an oil on cardboard of moderate thickness, it is worth noting small lacks of cardboard on the vertical on the left, at the extreme marginal edge, located halfway up the painting. Also note a jump of pigment on the cheek, on the right, about two centimeters below the ear. The rest of this painting of good quality is in a satisfactory condition, as such it would deserve a much more beautiful frame in order to present it at its true value.
Finally, I would like to point out that this portrait is much more beautiful in reality, particularly in terms of contrast and colour rendering.
