"White Faience Cache-pot – Italy, Circa 1980"
White glazed faience cache-pot, with a raised decoration imitating macramé interlacing across the entire outer surface.
The upper rim is protected by a brass band, adding a contrasting decorative touch. Italian work, probably from Bassano, dating from the 1980s, typical of the decorative taste of the period, playing on textile illusion and the modernity of metallic finishes.
