"Ancient Serving Dish In Nove Earthenware With Alliance Coats Of Arms Of Juvalt Parravicini"
This serving dish with a lid was commissioned on the occasion of the marriage between Marquis Volfango de Juvalt and Marchioness Costanza Parravicini, as can be read in the phylacteries surrounding the noble coats of arms of the two families, which are found both at the center of the dish and on the two sides of the lid.
The piece is entirely hand-painted, with a rich floral decoration. On the back, the manufacturing mark: Nove di Bassano.
Some small chips around the perimeter and a more noticeable one at the tip of the lemon serving as the lid handle, but overall in good condition.
