"Silver Monstrance Reliquary Of Saint Teresa Of Avila"
A solid silver and filigree monstrance reliquary of Saint Teresa of Avila, composed of a turned shaft engraved with 16th-century motifs and an upper section made of an oval silver filigree case. The relic itself is placed on the front, consisting of a fragment of paper bearing the Saint's signature and the inscription "proprietary hand of Saint Teresa of Jesus Carm." This relic is placed in a bronze frame with worked silver and rhinestone inserts, with the episcopal seal of Monsignor Giuseppe Maria Martelli, Archbishop of Florence from 1722 to 1740, on the back, and an ivory miniature of the Saint on the back.
