Legion Of Honor Medal Republic 1870 Homeland Silver Shiny Enamels 19th Century
Medal of the Legion of Honor in solid silver (boar's head hallmark), enamel and small brilliants, representing on the obverse the effigy of Ceres laureate with "French Republic 1870" and on the reverse the crossed tricolor flag and standard and legend "Honneur et Patrie", on a laurel wreath, with a ribbon, from the Third Republic period, 19th century. This medal is in good general condition, good quality. The end of the branches is decorated with small brilliants. Please note: some dirt, scratches and wear of time, see photos.
