TUNISIA OFFICER OF THE ORDER OF NICHAN EL IFTIKHAR
Foundedin 1837 by Ahmed BEY and modified in 1855. The decoration bears themonogram of the reigning Bey at its center, and although there were 10 reigning Beys, there areonly 8 different signatures. The Order was abolished by Law No. 59-32 of March 16,1959 (6 Ramadan 1378). The Commander’s medal corresponds to the reign of MOHAMMED EL LAMINE BEY (1922–1929)
