"Small Louis XVI Footstool "
Protecting yourself from drafts in old houses was imperative, footstools allowed you to get away from the sometimes icy floor. This one, so small, must have been intended for a child. It is in the Louis XVI style, carefully made in the middle of the 19th century, gray lacquered, padded with pelote as in the 18th (without springs), and covered with a pretty yellow silk. It will fit perfectly into a period interior, as a particularly refined element. Excellent general condition.
