Prie Dieu or armrest, Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style, in oak, X spacer, stamped Pecquereau. On the amount of the armrest, are carved the royal monograms: H and 2 C interlaced (see 2 D interlaced?) H for Henri II and the 2 C for Catherine de Médicis (if 2 D? Diane de Poitiers his mistress).
