Venetian Corner Console In Walnut – Late 18th / Early 19th Century

Elegant Venetian corner console, dating from the late 18th century to the very beginning of the 19th, in a transitional period between Louis XVI style and the early Empire.
Made entirely of walnut, the structure is in solid wood while the front is enriched with a refined herringbone veneer, clearly visible in the details. The shaped legs curve in a saber-like form and meet at the base, ending with a finely carved foliate ornament surmounted by a pinecone.
The suspended design gives the piece a refined and lightweight appearance.
Excellent condition: solid and stable, with no need of restoration, only a possible light cleaning or polishing.
