Pierre Labrouche, painter and engraver born in Bayonne, was one of the great representatives of Basque engraving at the turn of the 20th century. His works, often devoted to maritime landscapes and ports of the Atlantic coast and Spain, are sought after for the finesse of his line and its authentic atmosphere. Condition: Visible foxing on the paper, but engraving clearly legible and framed under old glass. Period: Late 19th – early 20th century.
