Very nice Sho-Dansu. Consisting of six sliding doors, one hinged door and three drawers. These chests are for storing poetry, music and fiction books for personal use. Sho-Dansu are usually constructed with a closed frame of cryptomeria or cypress. The panels are made of Zelkova (Keyaki) wood with a very beautiful grain. Origin: Japan.
