Pair of Japanese vases in chiseled and sculpted bronze. The shape is based on the archaic Chinese "gu" models. The feet and wide necks are quadrilobed in shape with honeycomb motifs and archaic banana leaves, the thin intermediate bodies decorated with a Greek garland. The two handles are in the shape of dragons. Origin: Japan. Period: Meiji era (1868-1912). Dimensions: Height: 30 cm; Length: 19.5 cm; Width: 14 cm. Conditions: Very good condition.
