Chinese lancer-type soldier in a standing position wearing a long, crossed black tunic with white cuffs and collar fastened by a red belt. A banded pennant is placed and attached to the left shoulder. Baggy trousers topped with a cloth garment. The face is triangular in shape and wears a red headband at the base of the hair. The hair is tied in a bun at the back. He originally held a spear in his right hand and a shield in his left hand. Terracotta with white slip and remains of polychromes. The shield and spear are current objects made by a craftsman and complete the set. A thermoluminescence test from the Re.S.Artes Laboratory accompanies the object to authenticate its dating. Origin: China Period: Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AC). Dimensions: Height: 46 cm; width: 16 cm. Conditions: Very good general condition.
