Rare richly decorated cappuccine carriage clock with columns from the late 19th century, with classical proportions (21 x 10.5 x 10 cm).
Brass case finely decorated with ornamental motifs, beveled glass panels.
Enamel time ring on white dial, with a hairline in the enamel.
Complications: quarter and hour strike on gong, lever for silence, grande and petite sonnerie selection, repetition, alarm. Anchor escapement with bimetallic balance with screws and flat hairspring.
Movement marked Paris LF (Louis Fernier).
The clock is in good aesthetic condition and appears to be working, sold as requiring revision. Upon request, a mechanical overhaul and case restoration (polishing or gilding) can be provided.
