Magnificent kilim from Malatya in Anatolia. Woven wool on wool in the traditional way. The light brown bands are made of undyed dromedary wool. Very pretty weaving, fine and refined. The fringes are superb and we recognize the work of the Kurdish populations who are the majority in this region. Very beautiful 100% vegetable and natural colors. The piece is supple and light.
