This technique offers the upholsterer a great freedom of manufacture. Tufting is a process using artisanal manufacturing methods, ancestral know-how mainly developed in India and China, and modern weaving tools.
The weaving is done by hand, the craftsman implanting the strands of textile, directly in a cotton canvas, a canvas stretched on a vertical loom. Tufting is done using a strand gun following the colors, pattern and different roving heights of the product.
