Moroccan Berber Rug From The Azrou Region
Rare Moroccan rug from the Middle Atlas Mountains in Morocco. This rug appears to have been woven around 1930 in the Azrou region during Prosper Ricard's Moroccan rug revival program. The wool is undyed except for the red, which was achieved using a fine madder root. In superb condition.
