Beautiful full-length portrait of a Neapolitan woman. The face is austere but realistic, the dress is particularly refined, the shadow cast on the folds of the garment attracts the eye. This watercolor was produced around 1840. Sold in a new passe-partout frame. Please note: this work is in very good general condition. Stains on the periphery and four pinholes in the corners.
