"Maricke (éric Simon Maricke, Contemporary Sculptor) Wall Sculpture "
Wall sculpture in carbonate earth/high-tech clay on a metal frame, patinated and waxed. Unique piece signed, with certificate of authenticity. Dimensions: 70 x 45 cm Weight: approx. 20 kg Monumental work representing a stylized female bust, magnified by the contrast between the smooth sensuality of the torso and the density of the "braids" or drapes that envelop it. Maricke's sculptures are made from carbonate earth or high-tech clay applied to a metal frame. These innovative materials offer excellent mechanical strength, even after firing at low temperatures. The final appearance is obtained by a patina applied with a brush and pad, revealed by a polishing that gives a bronze appearance. The finish is then protected with natural wax. The braids, heavy and compact, accentuate the impression of strength and majesty, contrasting with the luminous polish of the torso. This work, both decorative and monumental, constitutes a unique piece entirely fashioned by the artist's hand.
