Short saber Aghan called khyber - Afghanistan, Pashtun, 19th century. Handle made of horn plates and silver-plated metal mount. Single-edged blade and T-section spine. Wooden scabbard covered with a lashed cord, fabrics and a large chiseled and openwork brass and copper snap. Former German private collection. Collected in situ in the early 1970s. Small chips at the beak of each of the horn plates. Total length 71cm Length without scabbard 62.5cm Blade length 50.5cm Weight 1120gr Weight without scabbard 645gr
