Wooden statuette, representation of the goddess Gauri - India, Rajasthan, early 20th century or earlier. Wooden statuette of a rather rustic sculpture but of undeniable aesthetic and graphic quality. This type of statuette was used during the Gangaur festival (mainly celebrated in Rajasthan). The arms and legs, which were supposed to be articulated, are missing. Height 40cmWeight 1328gr
