Leonardo Gasser studied there under Michele Gordigiani and soon joined the artistic circle of the Florentine Caffè Michelangiolo. Leonardo Gasser probably left Florence in the late 1860s to live abroad. Leonardo Gasser's works were shown at exhibitions in Turin, Milan, and Genoa until 1892.
