WW1 Ersatz German Trench Knife DaggerA very nice special German combat trench knife.
EB2 were made by several companies; Gottlieb Hammesfahr & Co, F. W. Horster & Co, Robert Klaas & Co, and Franz Koller & Co. This example is marked on the ricasso with the manufacturer F. KOELLER / & CO.
The knife feels perfect in hand and it is definately saw some action in the trenches.
The leather strap that hold the the button is damaged, the button is still attached to the bottom clip.
A rare find.
