"New Kingdom Pharaonic Head On Stand"
Beautifully patinated terracotta pharaonic head, made during the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt (1550–1070 BC), retaining its well-defined beard. Small, yet characterful and spatially appropriate, it is presented on a contemporary metal stand, with the head adjustable to raise and lower as desired.
Provenance: American collection, purchased in the UK in the 1990s.
