"A.drien Mazoyer Enameled Glass Vase Circa 1940"
Ball vase with flared neck in translucent white glass and hot enameled with decoration of roses and blue and orange foliage. Body signed: "A. Mazoyer / Windmill (symbol of the city of Moulins)". Circa 1930. Very good condition. Height 17 cm. Adrien MAZOYER, master glassmaker of Art Deco (1887-1950) (France) studied Fine Arts. Paintings after Sala and Lambert…) made in pen in 1906 (he was 19 years old). He worked at the "Vase étrusque" in Paris. The works produced in the period 1920-1930 bear the signature: "A. Mazoyer" followed by a drawing of a mill painted in black enamel. The mill represents the symbol of the city of Moulins. There are also labels "OBJETS D'ART A. MAZOYER MOULINS".
