Carved Wood "lion" End Of 17th Century, Beginning Of 18th Century

Carved wood decorated with a lion's head carved in high relief. The lion is represented holding a zinc fountain mouth in its mouth (but nothing allows the water to pass through). Foliage finishes the decoration on either side of the head. The walnut has acquired a beautiful patina, some traces of wood-eating, without any effect on the solidity. Period late 17th century, at the latest early 18th century. Shipping costs to France by Colissimo with tracking: €30
