Bronze statuette representing Krishna in his Venugopala form. Standing in tribhanga posture, legs crossed, hands arranged in front of the chest in the attitude of the flute player. He wears a high conical headdress, decorated with steps, and wears large earrings as well as a belted dhoti decorated with pearl motifs. The figure rests on a circular pedestal with radiating decoration in the form of a stylized lotus. Origin: Orissa (Odisha), India. Period: 17th ~ 18th century. Technique: Bronze cast using the lost wax method, beautiful old patina with traces of oxidation. Dimensions: Height 19 cm. Weight: 822 g. Condition: Good general condition, natural wear.
