Rooster Claw Box, Java/bali Circa 1930-1950
Antique Balinese/Javanese box used to store blades used in cockfights (sabung ayam). Hand-carved hardwood, exterior decoration in relief representing protective demons (raksasa), traditional polychromy in red, yellow, green and black.
