Contact me at 06 78 87 61 61 Richard AURILI (1834-1914) Riccardo Aurili trained as a sculptor at the Academy of Florence, as a pupil of Augusto Rivalta and Emilo Zocchi. He obtained the first prize for sculpture in 1883. He married Françoise Pesciatini, who would be the mother of his children. After his studies, he made a name for himself with his sculpture "The Bather", which was offered at a Drouot auction in 1890. After 1890, he spent most of his life in France and Belgium. However, he always maintained contacts with Tuscany and was described as a "Florentine sculptor" throughout his life.
