Console table with a raised shelf, called "bon Bonheur du Jour" by the French, Napoleon III era, made of ebony, rosewood, boxwood inlays, greenwood, and mahogany.
Finished with gilded bronze trim.
These pieces were crafted by expert cabinetmakers to be placed in entryways, living rooms, and even bedrooms to enhance the space.
The piece, starting from the bottom, consists of a drawer; immediately before the top, there is a pull-out pull; at the top, there are drawers and doors.
The piece was restored in our workshop; the bronzes were removed, the woodwork cleaned, varnished, the bronzes cleaned, and reassembled.
